This is a low carb meatball recipe, with one carb in three meatballs. These are one of the best meatball recipes I have ever had.

      Ingredients                                                                            

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese   

  •  I pound ground turkey                                                 

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream                                                                                                                                      

  • 2 tablespoons parsley

  • tablespoon grated onion                      

  • 1/2 tsp salt                                                                   

  • large pinch of pepper     

  • 1/4 cup almond meal                                  

  • Rao’s low carb marinara sauce (optional)    

  • oil            

  • 1/4 cup diced oregano (optional)   

  • 1 egg                                                      

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

1. Add turkey to a medium bowl and break into  smaller chunks

2. Add other ingredients and mash with a two pron fork

3. Oil hands and roll 12 evenly sized meatballs

4. Heat frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, spray the pan with oil and add meatballs.

5. Cook until firm and evenly browned, turning so you cook multiple sides. 

6. Place meatballs in oven and bake for about 20 minutes.

About 1/2 carb per meatball
